A bohemian-modern retreat steps from downtown Palm Springs, Hinshaw Hideaway is the former winter escape of JCW and Wilberta Hinshaw, developers of the historic La Plaza shopping center. Built in 1934, the sprawling 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath ranch sits on landscaped grounds in the Movie Colony district, a 10-minute stroll from restaurants, galleries, and shopping.

A fully-equipped kitchen designed for entertaining, featuring stainless steel appliances, marble countertops and a wine fridge. A resort-style, heated swimming pool lies at the center of an impressive, South-facing backyard lined with palm trees and surrounded by a lush, 10-foot privacy wall. In a separate corner, a hot tub with 18 jets faces a second stone outdoor fireplace and outdoor bar area. Between three spacious bedrooms, Hinshaw Hideaway comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests.

Each bedroom, located in a separate corner of the home for privacy, features a Casper Wave mattress and Casper pillows. The master suite, located off the East end of the living area, is styled in rustic, mid-century decor with wood-paneled walls, a king-sized bed and a leather lounge chair. This room also has a 55” flat-screen TV and a luxurious bathroom with marble walls and a soaker tub. The suite opens onto the backyard through glass doors, steps from a cushioned sitting area shaded by umbrellas.
